PostgreSQL Data Access Component (PgDAC) is a component library that provides local connectivity to PostgreSQL through Delphi and C++Builder (including Community Edition), as well as Lazarus (and Free Pascal) on Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android. 32-bit and 64 bit platforms. PgDAC is designed to help programmers develop truly lightweight, faster, and cleaner PostgreSQL database applications without the need to deploy any other libraries.
PgDAC completely replaces the standard PostgreSQL connectivity solution and provides an effective alternative to the Borland Database Engine (BDE) and standard dbExpress driver to access PostgreSQL. It provides direct access to PostgreSQL without the need for a PostgreSQL client.
